What we do with your details.
Short version: you send us your details and photos to get a quote, they go by email to the workshop, and we use them for nothing else.

Who we are
West Custom Auto Limited (company number 13276369), registered office 129 Edward Road, Balsall Heath, Birmingham B12 9JQ. Our workshop is on St Paul's Road, Balsall Heath, Birmingham B12 8LZ. What we collect
When you use the quote form, call, email or WhatsApp us, we may receive:
- Your name and contact details (phone number, email address)
- Details of your vehicle (make, model, year, colour, registration if you give it)
- Photos of the damage and your description of it
- Anything else you choose to tell us, such as an insurance claim reference
Photos may incidentally include a number plate or the background where the car is parked. We only use them to assess the repair.
Why we use it
To give you a quote, arrange and carry out the work you ask for, keep you updated, and deal with any insurance claim you involve us in. The legal basis is that this is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, and to perform that contract. Where we keep records after the job, that is for our legitimate interest in running the business and meeting our legal and warranty obligations.
We do not use your details for marketing unless you separately ask us to, and we never sell or share them for anyone else's marketing.
Where it goes
Form submissions are sent to the workshop's email inbox using Resend, an email delivery service, and pass through Cloudflare, which hosts this website. Neither stores your submission beyond what is needed to deliver it. Our email is hosted by Google. If your repair involves an insurer, we share what they need to process the claim.
How long we keep it
Quote requests that don't go ahead are deleted within 12 months. Records of completed work are kept for six years to meet accounting and warranty obligations, then deleted. You can ask us to delete your details sooner at any time. See below.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics. The map on our contact page is loaded from Google only when you press "Load map", and Google's own privacy terms apply to it from that point.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email wcaltd.uk@gmail.com and we'll respond within a month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change this notice we'll update the date at the top. Substantive changes will be flagged on this page.
